Sourcing Support Sourcing works collaboratively with hotel owners and operators, as well as internal WH&R teams, to help drive awareness and engagement of supplier programs and brand initiatives. We also help facilitate new program expansions and troubleshoot any challenges or issues you may encounter along the way.

REVIEW AND APPROVAL PROCESS

All marketing collateral and business related communications to our franchisees must be provided to Sourcing Marketing for review and approval prior to distribution to our hotels whether through our marketing channels or your own. Contact Sourcing Marketing with any questions and to submit collateral for review. Once submitted, we will: • Edit for grammar and brand “voice,” and will provide assistance with overall message clarity. We will • Gain approvals from WH&R operations, communications and legal.

review any required revisions with you as the subject matter expert to confirm content remains accurate • Act as a central point of contact for all communications to WH&R brands to help ensure we are communicating most effectively – i.e. the correct frequency, approved content and via the appropriate vehicles.

• Please note, the review and approval process takes a minimum of 15 business days to complete. Material will be reviewed by your marketing contact, and a timeline will be given for approving content submitted.

WH&R GLOBAL CONFERENCE Our Global Conference provides WH&R Approved Suppliers with an opportunity to access top decision-makers for our 24 hotel brands and thousands of hotel owners and operators who attend the Conference. This dynamic event hosted every 18 months, is unlike any other industry event, as it provides an unparalleled experience for WH&R owners and operators and internal teams and suppliers to gather under one roof, showcase new and exciting changes and help develop lasting business relationships. Trade shows offer suppliers unique opportunities to help generate leads in a face-to-face environment and close sales. Don’t miss the chance to help meet new and existing customers, create lasting business relationships, reinforce the value of your program and take orders! The next Global Conference is scheduled to take place in SPRING 2025. EVENT RESOURCES There is no better way to get your information into the hands of owners and operators than to provide printed copies of your collateral in the business development kits at owner and operator meetings. These meetings provide direct access to owners and operators who may be amenable to products and services that fit their needs. All content is pre-determined based on operational initiatives and identified needs so you’ll always know that your message is hitting the right target at the right time.

From time-to-time, and as determined by business needs, suppliers are invited to participate in Wyndham University’s Hospitality Management Program (HMP) training events. In 2024, we anticipate these events to be a mix of both virtual and in-person events with hotel owners/operators and brand teams, that can provide you with the opportunity to generate leads and help establish new or strengthen existing business relationships with your company. Specific signage, product display and collateral needs are determined by the venue and will be communicated to you upon invitation. These meetings are in a smaller setting allowing time to connect with key operators and an opportunity for additional sales.
